ADP, Inc. in Alabama is seeking a Molding Machine Operator to remove product from conveyors, inspect against specifications, and hand pack into cartons. You will follow the standard operating procedures and maintain quality in a noisy industrial setting.

Responsibilities include scrap handling, PVL verification, reporting issues, and record-keeping in Plex. Opportunity to train others and perform light forklift duties if eligible, with overtime as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Remove product from conveyor or machine and hand pack into cartons per specs.
• Inspect to customer specifications and ensure quality.
• Follow Operation Standard daily before producing parts.
• Prioritize 5s principles in daily tasks.
• Scrap parts not meeting specifications; regrind or dispose scrap.
• Report equipment malfunctions or quality problems to team coordinator.
• Accurately record scrap and press downtime in Plex.
• PVL verification: label matches contents.
• Report accidents or hazards to Process Coordinator immediately.
• Keep Floater/Coordinator/Process Tech informed of material or tooling needs.
• May drive forklift to load/unload parts if eligible for forklift license.
• May assist with periodic inventory.
• May train new press operators.
• Other duties as assigned by Molding Department Management.

POSITION TITLE: Molding Machine Operator

POSITION SUMMARY:

To remove product from conveyor or machine, inspect to customer specifications and hand pack into prescribed carton.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Review and follow steps outlined in the Operation Standard each day before producing parts
• 5s Principles must be a priority
• Scrap parts that do not meet specifications
• Regrinds or disposes of scrap
• Reports any equipment malfunction and/or quality problem to team coordinator
• Accurately record scrap & press downtime in Plex
• Performs PVL (confirms that label applied to container matches parts packed in container)
• Reports any accidents, incidents, or hazardous situations to the Process Coordinator immediately
• Keep Floater, Coordinator, or Process Tech apprised of material or tooling needs

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• May drive a forklift to load/unload parts and/or materials if eligible to obtain KMA forklift license
• May help conduct periodic inventory
• May train new press operators
• Any other duties as assigned by Molding Department Management
