Job summary

Commercial Metals Company (CMC) is seeking an entry-level operator to work within our fabrication and production environments in Alabama. You will operate control stations, maintain equipment, and help ensure material quality in concrete and reinforcement products.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of industry experience is required.
• English language proficiency (Spanish is a plus).
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate control station and header cart.
• Ensure machine is clean and in good working order.
• Ensure quality of materials used in production (concrete, wire reinforcement).
• Supply machine with necessary components to make product.
• Produce quality product.
• Perform basic troubleshooting on production and concrete batching machinery.
