Job summary

Lippert Components, Inc. is seeking a full-time team member for its production facility in Chicago. The role focuses on supporting production goals, reading work orders and blueprints, and maintaining safety standards on the shop floor.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, strong math and measurement skills, and proven reliability in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Hours are Monday through Friday on the 1st shift with competitive benefits.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are typically Monday through Friday, time depends on production demands.

Pay Rate: $17.90 Per Hour 1st Shift 6:00am-2:30pm

Freedman by Lippert determines pay based on several factors, including but not limited to the position being offered, education, skills, work experience, and other factors permitted by law. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.
