Job summary

Tosca Services, LLC is seeking a Machine Operator in Charlotte, NC to inspect RPCs, load and unload containers, and maintain a clean, safe work environment. You will follow food safety policies and Tosca safety protocols to keep production running smoothly.

The role requires the ability to read work instructions and prior manufacturing experience. A commitment to quality and safety and the willingness to support maintenance tasks are essential for success.

Responsibilities

• Inspect RPCs for quality and remove waste material, stickers, and damaged items from the production line.
• Load, unload, and stack RPCs from the production line for processing.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and report safety concerns.
• Operate equipment following Tosca's safety protocols (Lockout/Tagout, Chemical Handling).
• Monitor RPC processing and adjust input/output to maximize throughput.
• Monitor supplies and materials used for processing.
• Assist Maintenance Coordinator or Technician with minor machine adjustments or fixes.
• Perform other related duties as needed within the service center.

What You'll Do:

• Responsible for inspecting Reusable Plastic Containers (RPCs) for quality and removing any waste material, stickers, tags, damaged RPCs, and non-Tosca RPCs from the production line in accordance with Tosca's food safety policies
• Load, unload, and stack RPCs from the production line for processing
• Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment, including reporting food or environmental safety concerns
• Operates equipment in accordance with Tosca's safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout, Chemical Handling, etc.
• Monitors processing of RPC's through the line and adjusts input or output as needed to maximize throughput.
• Monitors supplies or materials used for processing
• Will be required to assist the Maintenance Coordinator or Technician on minor machine adjustments or fixes
• Performs other related duties and assignments as needed within the service center

What We Are Looking For:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Related experience working in a manufacturing/production environment
• Ability to read and understand work instructions pertaining to machine operation and food safety programs
