A leading company in Chanhassen seeks a Machine Operator for the 3rd shift. The role involves operating production machinery, ensuring quality output, and maintaining equipment. Key Responsibilities
Operate production machinery while monitoring output quality and machine performance.
Make minor machine adjustments using hand tools to maintain quality and speed.
Handle production, quality checks, mailing, and inventory of materials and finished goods.
Maintain equipment and document logs for production, inventory, ISO compliance, and material destruction.
Prepare and stock materials for production; shred materials as needed.
Perform weekly cleaning tasks, including sweeping and trash removal.
Review job sheets and proofs to meet customer specifications.
Support team by covering machines during breaks and assisting operators.
Communicate production, quality, or maintenance issues to supervisors.
Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine issues using training and experience.
Ensure smooth shift transitions by communicating job and machine status.
Provide feedback on training and documentation.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder (must qualify for Moderate Risk Public Trust clearance).
Strong communication and basic math skills.
Familiarity with hand tools and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, typing).
Ability to follow SOPs, troubleshoot basic issues, and maintain accurate documentation.
Detail-oriented, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Technical education or relevant experience preferred.
Preferred
Up to 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
Experience operating machinery or working in IT-related roles.
