Job summary

Optimus Group, located in Rancho Dominguez, is seeking a manufacturing associate to operate and set up machines, complete shift reports, and package finished parts. Candidates should have basic Excel/Word skills, basic algebra/geometry, and be able to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs (100 lbs with assistance). Forklift may be required. Monday–Friday, weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Ability to apply basic Algebra and Geometry.
• Stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel.
• Lift 50 lbs / move 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate machines to perform production tasks.
• Set up new parts on all machines.
• Complete shift machine reports.
• Obtain piece weights and package products.
• Operate forklift if required.
• Handle additional duties as assigned.

Employee will be working for a company located in Rancho Dominguez that specializes in manufacturing custom product protection components such as vinyl caps, tubing, and plugs.

Duties

• Complete machine operation.
• Set up new parts on all machines.
• Complete shift machine reports.
• Obtain piece weights and package products.
• Must be able to operate forklift if required
• And any additional duties may be applied

Schedule

Monday-Friday

1st shift: 6 AM- 2:30 PM

2nd shift: 2 PM- 10:30 PM

3rd shift 10 PM-6 AM
