Job summary

Ernest-Gordon-Recruitment-Limited is seeking an experienced CNC Milling Machinist in Caldwell, TX. Set up and operate CNC milling machines from engineering drawings, producing first-off components to specification.

The role offers a day shift from 7am to 5:30pm with flexible options for parents, a family-run environment, and overtime opportunities. You will work closely with a small team to deliver high-quality, low-volume parts for offshore and industrial sectors.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC milling machines from engineering drawings, loading tooling, setting offsets, and producing first-off components to specification.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring equipment to ensure tolerances are met.
• Machine a variety of one-off and low-volume parts, making program edits as needed.
• Collaborate with the owner and small team to deliver high-quality work in a flexible, fast-paced shop.

Salary: USD25 - USD30 per hour + +overtime options

Machine Operator (Milling)

Caldwell, TX – 7am- 5:30pm (flexible if you have kids/ school run)

$25-$30 per hour (50 hours per week) + Overtime Available

THE ROLE:

• Set up and operate CNC milling machines from engineering drawings, including loading tooling, setting offsets and producing first-off components to specification.

• Machine a wide variety of one-off and low-volume precision components, making program edits where required.
• Work closely with the owner and small team to deliver high-quality work in a flexible, fast-paced job shop environment.

THE PERSON:

• Experienced CNC Mill Machinist with the ability to independently set up machines and produce first-off components to tolerance.
• Confident reading engineering drawings and using precision measuring equipment including micrometers, verniers and bore gauges.
• Background in a job shop, custom machining or low-volume/high-mix manufacturing environment.
• Self-motivated team player who enjoys variety, problem solving and working in a close-knit, family-run business.
