Jobot is seeking a motivated Thread Rolling Operator Trainee for our manufacturing team in Brea, CA. The role focuses on learning and operating thread rolling equipment to produce precision metal components in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Prior manufacturing experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and manufacturing documentation.
• Basic math skills including fractions and decimals.

Responsibilities

• Learn to set up and operate thread rolling machines and related equipment.
• Read blueprints and follow manufacturing instructions.
• Conduct first-piece inspections and in-process quality checks.
• Use micrometers and calipers to verify part quality.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and follow safety procedures.
• Complete production records accurately and maintain machinery.

Job Details

We are seeking a motivated Thread Rolling Operator Trainee to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for learning and operating thread rolling equipment used to produce precision metal components. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and committed to producing high-quality parts in a fast-paced production environment.

Hours: 1st shift and 2nd shift available

1st Shift (4AM-230PM)

2nd Shift (230PM-1AM)

will work 2 Saturdays per month

Days: Monday-Friday

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Learn to set up and operate thread rolling machines and related production equipment.
• Experience working with fasteners, nuts, bolts, and hand tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and manufacturing documentation.
• Use measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, gauges, comparators, and microscopes to verify part quality.
• Perform first-piece inspections and in-process quality checks to ensure product compliance.
• Monitor machine performance and report equipment or safety concerns promptly.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Follow quality management procedures, safety standards, and production requirements.
• Accurately complete production records and manufacturing transactions.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain workplace organization standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior manufacturing, machine operator, or metalworking experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical instructions.
• Basic math skills, including working with fractions and decimals.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
