Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Billings, MT is hiring a Machine Operator to set up and run heavy machinery for cutting, punching, forming, and processing building components. You will work from safety standards and use gauges to ensure quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Complete work assignments and customer orders safely, accurately, timely and without damage.
• Assist co-workers and customers.
• Inspect materials, products, machinery, tools and equipment.
• Assist with inventory management activities including daily updates to the ERP system.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
• Assist in the movement of inventory within and among workstations and areas.
• Comply with all safety requirements and use applicable personal protective equipment.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance, adjustments, and lubrication on equipment and production tools as required to maintain proper operation.

Base pay starts at $26.00 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

The Machine Operator is responsible for setting up and operating heavy machinery and related gauges to perform various cutting, punching, forming, blocking, and processing operations. They must have a thorough knowledge of production techniques and the ability to produce quality-building components and parts.
