Job summary

Sealed Air in Massachusetts is seeking a morning-shift CNC operator responsible for operating CNC, press brakes, lasers, and related equipment. You will load pieces, verify dimensions, and ensure safe operation.

This role requires 1 year of metal fabrication experience, blueprint reading, basic math, and English proficiency. You must be able to stand for 8 hours and handle lifting, with a High School diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• 1 year metal fabrication shop experience required
• Ability to read blueprints required
• Ability to speak, read, and write English required
• Basic math skills required
• Familiarity with various types of metal: Aluminum, cold roll, and stainless steel helpful
• Ability to work for 8 hours standing, walking, reaching, and lifting
• High School Diploma or GED required

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
• Review specifications for operating sequence of machine
• Loads work pieces, operates, runs, and unloads machines to include but not limited to CNC, Press Brake, Laser, etc.
• Maintain specifications by tapping, pemming, drilling, grooving, milling, and cutting
• Adjust speeds, feeds, and bend allowances
• Clean and maintain machine and tooling
• Measure finished work to ensure conformance to specifications
• Lift work pieces, fixtures, etc.
• Maintains clean work area and participates in general housekeeping in department
• Detect malfunctions and troubleshoot
• Adhere to all company policies
• Other duties as assigned

Pay Rate: $19.00
