Job summary

Cap America is seeking a maintenance technician to repair and maintain factory machinery, perform preventive maintenance, and handle building repairs in Fredericktown, MO. The role requires physical work and practical hands-on reliability to keep production equipment running smoothly.

The position involves working across machines and building systems, supporting loading/unloading operations, and cross-training in multiple production areas to assist wherever needed.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of plumbing, electrical and machinery.
• Must be mechanically minded.
• Able to work at a fast pace with knowledge of several types of machines.
• Must be able to lift over 75 pounds.
• Some twisting, bending, stretching, reaching, climbing, walking, sitting, kneeling, pushing and pulling required.
• Able to get along with multiple personality types.

Responsibilities

• Keep stock levels of machine repair parts updated weekly and turn in part and supply list orders to manager.
• Complete various outside maintenance jobs.
• Occasional duties off-site may be required.
