$22.00/hr - $25.00/hr

OurMaintenance & Engineering team plays a critical role in ensuring safe operation, extending equipment life, and predicting and preventing downtime.

We Are Currently Seeking Maintenance Technicians / Mechanics for our Johnstown Facilities

$22-25/hr. depending on skillset.

Location: 125 Balzano Dr. Johnstown NY 12095

1st Shift Positions / Overtime Available

Job Summary

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for installing, repairing and maintaining large industrial textile processing equipment, as well as facility maintenance. Tasks include start-up and shut-down procedures, electrical troubleshooting, maintaining and operating boilers, welding and cutting, hydraulics, mechanical, and other systems.

Essential Functions

• Installs, Repairs and Performs Preventative Maintenance on Industrial Processing Equipment.
• Troubleshoots Mechanical/Electrical issues.
• Proficient in Reading Electrical Schematics.
• Studies Manufacturers Documentation to Determine Correct Operation of Machinery.
• Maintains Accurate Records of maintenance performed.
• Responds to Daily Maintenance requests to Minimize Equipment Downtime.
• Provides Emergency Repairs of Production Equipment.
• Ensures work is performed safely and efficiently.
• Maintains up to date technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing technical publications.
• Remains current on equipment and repair procedures and best practices.
