Machine Maintenance Technician (CNC Machining) - 2nd Shift

Position Overview

The CNC Machine Maintenance team supports production and development with mechanical, electrical, and control maintenance across various machine configurations, including 5-axis gantries, mill turn centers, large lathes, and more. Responsibilities include repair, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure operational efficiency in a demanding environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair machinery to ensure proper operation
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on complex CNC equipment
• Troubleshoot control, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
• Operate forklifts and company vehicles
• Perform additional duties to support an efficient work environment

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 3 years of maintenance technician experience
• Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical repairs
• Experience with CNC control systems such as Siemens 840D, Okuma, Fanuc, Heidenhain, or Allen Bradley

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field
• Over 5 years of experience as a maintenance technician or field service engineer
• Experience installing and commissioning 5-axis machines in aerospace
• Proficiency with calibration systems like XL-80 Laser Interferometer and Ballbar
• Ability to read electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Additional Requirements

• Work hours: Monday to Friday, 1:30 PM – 12:00 AM
• Availability for extended hours and weekends
• Forklift certification and ability to lift up to 30 lbs.

Compensation & Benefits

Level 1: $24.00 - $31.00/hr, Level 2: $28.00 - $37.00/hr, Level 3: $33.00 - $43.00/hr. Salary is determined based on experience and skills. Benefits include stock options, bonuses, comprehensive health coverage, 401(k), paid leave, and holidays.
