ProAmpac is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team on-site in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role is full-time, non-exempt, with a salary range based on level and experience, and on-call weekends as required.

The position supports electro-mechanical and pneumatic repairs, facilities maintenance, and collaboration with production and engineering teams. Benefits include comprehensive health coverage and a strong wellness program.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent with 3-5 years trade experience in electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
• Experience in flexible packaging manufacturing is a plus.
• Strong time management and ability to multitask to meet deadlines.

• Repair electrical problems and install on non-energized circuits.
• Diagnose and fix electro-mechanical and pneumatic devices.

Requirements:

• High school diploma (or equivalent) plus 3-5 years trade experience with electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems.
• Flexible packaging manufacturing experience a plus.
• Working knowledge in operation and maintenance of facility management services.
• Exceptional time management and organization skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously establishing priorities to meet deadlines.
• Proactive; exercises sound judgment and decision making; able to identify problems and needs and develop solutions and/or options.

Duties/Tasks:

Electro-Mechanical/Pneumatic Repairs and Troubleshooting:

• Repair electrical problems and perform installations on non-energized circuits.
• Diagnose and fix electro-mechanical and pneumatic devices.
• Disassemble and reassemble devices as needed.

Facilities Maintenance:

• Maintain facilities, including snow plowing, yard maintenance, and light electrical and plumbing work.
• Conduct daily inspections
• Assist with managing the Tool Room.
• Set up and operate all Level I and Level II production equipment.
• Assist operators in troubleshooting equipment issues.
• Collaborate with the Production Department based on scheduled demands.
• Build fixtures and machine attachments
• Assist engineering with installation, testing and validation of new products and production equipment.

Teamwork and Communication:

• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient operations.
• Train & support lower-level maintenance techs and support production departments.

Safety and Compliance:

• Operate scissor lifts, UTV/snowplows, snowblowers, and forklifts with valid licenses.
• Adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations.

All other duties as assigned

Work primarily in a climate controlled indoor environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential. Hearing protection, safety shoes and vision protection required on the production floor at all times.

This role operates in a professional environment that requires some exposure to a manufacturing environment. Employee is exposed to non-toxic/nuisance smells from chemicals, airborne dust, moving mechanical parts, high noise levels and hot/humid environmental conditions in the manufacturing area during extremely hot summer months.
