  • Use meters, gauges, diagnostic tools, and hand tools to test, adjust, calibrate, and repair equipment to meet operational and safety specifications.
  • Perform mechanical and electrical repairs, including component replacement, alignment, and tuning, to keep equipment running at peak performance.
  • Operate machines when needed to verify proper functionality after maintenance or repair activities.
  • Document maintenance activities by writing clear repair notes and reports as required, ensuring accurate maintenance records and traceability.
  • Apply Lean Manufacturing and root‑cause analysis methods to improve equipment reliability, reduce recurring issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Occasionally operate forklifts or scissor lifts to access equipment or move materials in a safe and controlled manner.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and operations teams to prioritize work, support production goals, and communicate equipment status and repair timelines.
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures while working on high‑tech manufacturing equipment, maintaining a clean and organized work area.
