Responsible for performing routine preventive maintenance to ensure facility and manufacturing equipment operates efficiently and reliably.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES* Maintain, fix, service, overhaul or replace defective parts, for the highest quality and longest life of assigned equipment.* Ensure assigned equipment is in accordance with manufactured and company specifications.* Make preventative maintenance checks and inspection of assigned equipment. Report to supervisor and take appropriate action.* Assist and guide service personnel, including lift operators, truck drivers, and welders, in adhering to standard operating procedures and compliance requirements.* Perform preventive maintenance tasks, including greasing, oiling, and replacing filters, belts, and other equipment components.* May operate equipment during relief periods and while troubleshooting equipment.QUALIFICATIONS* High School degree required or equivalent.* 1-3+ years’ experience in a manufacturing, work environment.* Valid Driver’s License.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES* Requires hands-on experience and training with Hydraulic, Pneumatic, Electrical Wiring and NEC code, and PLC programming.* Must have good working knowledge of machining and welding.* Knowledge of geometric and precision measuring tools is required.* Must have understanding to carry out detailed written and/or oral instructions.* Ability and capability to deal with complex equipment problems.* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.PHYSICAL DEMANDSThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
