Job summary

Treske Precision Machining is seeking a full-time Machine Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on CNC machines and related equipment in our Sherwood, Oregon facility.

The role requires hands-on electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting, with a focus on breakdown analysis and preventive care. Flexibility for overtime and independent work is essential.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of CNC maintenance, troubleshooting and repair experience required.
  • Knowledge of CNC controls preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Proficient with computers including CMMS and MS Office.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair electronic circuitry, motor controls, and sensors.
  • Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic components.
  • Read and interpret electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics.
  • Record and maintain repair records for equipment.
  • Follow safety guidelines and work with overtime as needed.
  • Coordinate and perform planned maintenance and advanced troubleshooting.

Job description

Treske Precision Machining has an immediate opening for a full-time Machine Maintenance Technician. The position includes preventative maintenance and the repair of CNC machines and other miscellaneous equipment used in the support of Production. The technician will work independently and with other personnel to coordinate and perform planned maintenance and advanced troubleshooting activities.

Major Duties And Responsibilities
  • Advanced troubleshooting and repair of non-functioning electronic circuitry including wiring, motor controls and sensors
  • Advanced troubleshooting and repair of non-functioning hydraulic and pneumatic components
  • Advanced troubleshooting and repair of non-functioning machine components and control instruments
  • Read and interpret electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics
  • Record and maintain repair records on all equipment
  • Ensure all safety guidelines are followed
  • Comfortable working flexible hours, including overtime as needed
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision
Desired Skills And Experience
  • 5+ Years of CNC maintenance, troubleshooting and repair experience-required
  • Knowledge of the advanced operation of CNC controls is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Working knowledge of computers to include CMMS use, internet research and Microsoft Office document reviews
  • Have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Ability to work with frequent interruptions and multiple deadlines
  • Experience and ability to perform minor building & facility maintenance repairs such as air compressor maintenance and more
  • LME – Limited Maintenance Electrician license is a plus but not required
  • Flexibility to learn and utilize new skills to perform other duties as assigned
Job Conditions/Physical Requirements
  • Work performed in factory settings
  • Exposure to manufacturing environment such as noise, dust and the outdoors
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, and negotiate a flight of stairs and move about facilities
  • Must be able to lift light to moderately heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.)
  • Flexible with overtime and on‑call
Education
  • A minimum of 2-years of civilian or military training in mechanics, electronics, hydraulics, pneumatic, motors, motor controls and associated diagram and schematics reading
