Treske Precision Machining, Inc. is a precision machine shop. We serve: Space & Defense, Aerospace, Electronics and Commercial Customers. We are Technology Driven including Robotic Machine Loading and Inspection. Our Cloud-Based On-The-Clock Training is for all employees. Our own in-house software developers continually improve the flow of information we need to do our daily jobs.

We have an immediate opening for a full-time Driver (CDL Not Required). Transport cargo to and from specified destinations in a safe and efficient manner, best utilizing company time and resources. Deliveries will generally be in the greater Portland area.

Responsibilities

• Operate trucks for the delivery and pickup of products and materials.
• Perform required before-, during-, and after-operation “user maintenance” and provide required reports.
• Provide outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations.
• Ensure paperwork matches load, noting any discrepancies and obtaining delivery confirmation from the receipt.
• Maintain a driver’s log of all hours spent operating the vehicle.
• Oversee truck maintenance.
• Understand shipping process and assist in the department including packaging and receiving.
• Load and unload trucks using forklift, as well as moving crates and pallets internally within our warehouse.
• Perform any other tasks assigned to support and improve the overall team operations.

Capabilities

• Ability to operate and maintain equipment in a safe manner at all times.
• Excellent customer service skills, both internal and external.
• Flexible and reliable.
• 1 or more year(s) experience as truck driver.
• Able to operate forklift.

Job Conditions/Physical Requirements

• Requires prolonged sitting and driving.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Must be able to work in severe weather conditions; both heat and cold.
• Vehicles: Transit Van & Transit Box Truck (10,000 pounds).

Education and Qualifications

• High School or equivalent education and 5+ years of related manufacturing/warehouse experience.
• Must have a good command of the English language, both written and verbal.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record. CDL not required.
