Job summary

Allied Personnel Services is seeking a Machine Maintenance Mechanic on a full-time basis for 3rd shift in Phillipsburg, NJ. Pay ranges from $26.00 to $29.00 per hour based on experience. This is a direct hire opportunity for production-focused maintenance professionals.

You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot and repair production equipment, and document work orders and repair records to support efficient operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on machine maintenance in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting abilities including pneumatics, hydraulics and basic electrical.
• Experience with PLCs or controls troubleshooting is helpful.

• Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, setup, and changeovers on machines and other production equipment
• Diagnose mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic electrical issues
• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions
• Inspect, adjust, repair and replace components including motors, bearings, belts, chains, sensors, and valves
• Complete maintenance logs, work orders, and repair records
