Job summary

AmeriTech Staffing, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to support our production operations on the 3rd shift, maintaining and repairing a variety of shop machinery.

The candidate will diagnose electrical and mechanical issues, read schematics, and ensure safety and compliance. The role requires 1+ years of experience in manufacturing or industrial settings, with strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to lift 50+ lbs.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of maintenance mechanic experience in manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for both electrical and mechanical systems.
• Ability to diagnose PLC-related issues (basic understanding acceptable).
• Experience with shop machinery such as CNCs, saws, presses, conveyors, or other production equipment.
• Knowledge of lockout/tagout and general safety practices.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
• Repair and replace motors, sensors, wiring, bearings, belts, pumps, and other machine components.

• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation.
• Collaborate with production teams to support daily manufacturing goals.
• Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with company standards.
