Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Technical certification preferred.
• 3–5+ years of machine maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment (CNC / aerospace preferred).
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics and pneumatics, bearings, gearboxes, pumps, motors, spindles, and ball screws, and alignment, vibration, and machine leveling.
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical schematics.
• Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and precision measurement equipment.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Manufacturing environment with exposure to heavy machinery, oils, noise, and industrial conditions.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and off-shift support when required.

• Ensure compliance with safety standards, lockout/tagout procedures, and company policies.
• Assist in continuous improvement projects related to machine reliability and plant efficiency.
• Respond to urgent maintenance issues and support off-shift operations when required.

Position Summary

Magellan Aerospace, New York has an exciting opportunity for a Machine Maintenance Technician. The purpose of this position is to ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable operation of production machinery in a high-precision aerospace manufacturing environment.
