What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Design, develop, and enhance Python data science tools and frameworks
  • Collaborate with multiple trading teams to conduct alpha research and identify new trading opportunities

What is Required (Qualifications):
  • Bachelor's in mathematics, physics, computer science, or a related quantitative field with at least 4 years of relevant work experience, or a Master's/PhD in a related field with at least 2 years of experience
  • Strong GPA of 3.5 or higher
  • Proficient knowledge of probability, statistics, and machine learning for time-series data
  • Excellent programming skills in Python, with familiarity in C++ being a plus
  • Experience with software engineering best practices, including TDD and CI/CD, and distributed computing
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  • Practical experience applying machine learning techniques in trading applications
  • Experience with high-performance computing (HPC) environments such as SLURM
  • Familiarity with orchestration and containerization tools (e.g., Singularity, Docker, Airflow, Prefect)
