Job description

• This role sits at the intersection of applied machine learning, surgical healthcare operations, and data/ML Ops infrastructure.
• You will lead three teams working on computer vision, forecasting, and data platform.
• You will define the ML and data platform goals and roadmaps, balancing near-term wins with long-term scalability.

Leadership Responsibilities:

• Direct daily operations of the department, analyzing workflow, establishing priorities, developing standards, and setting deadlines.
• Manage, mentor, hire, and grow a department of engineers and data engineers across three distinct teams.
• Work closely with Product, Clinical, Operations, and Research stakeholders to translate business and clinical needs into clear technical priorities.

Technical Oversight:

• Manage machine learning system architecture, model deployment, and data platform design and execution.
• Ensure ML solutions are production-grade, scalable, observable, cost-effective, and maintainable.
• Drive best practices for ML model lifecycle management, data pipelines, and system reliability.
