What We Do

Responsible for building and implementing deep learning-based transformer models in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Computer Vision (CV). Build and manage cloud infrastructure to deploy Machine Learning models in production, ensuring security and compliance. Experience in fine-tuning Large Language Models (LLMs) to task-specific datasets. Deploy LLMs and deep learning models in production, optimizing real-time inference for millions of predictions daily. This role may focus on R&D and/or Engineering responsibilities.

R&D Role:
  • Responsible for ML operations with expertise in fast-serving inference, ML flow, research, and development (R&D), with a focus on best practices in ML development and operations.
  • Develop and maintain robust ML infrastructure, ensuring smooth ML flow from development to production.
  • Monitor and address model drift to ensure performance and accuracy over time.
  • Drive R&D initiatives exploring innovative ML operations techniques, deployment technologies, and monitoring frameworks.
  • Ensure efficient data pipelines and data availability for ML model serving and monitoring.
Engineering Role:
  • Build and manage cloud infrastructure (Azure, GCP, or Databricks) for deploying ML models, conforming to security and compliance needs.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) automation and software engineering in ML.
  • Implement and maintain model monitoring tools, track metrics, and facilitate proactive maintenance.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify infrastructure bottlenecks and improve scalability.
How You'll Contribute
  • Develop and optimize ML infrastructure for low-latency, high-throughput inference.
  • Implement ML flow processes, including versioning, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Collaborate with teams to deploy models, ensure code quality, and create data pipelines.
  • Monitor model performance, detect, and address drift.
  • Stay updated on ML operations, deployment, and monitoring advancements.
  • Document processes and contribute to knowledge bases.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including outside normal hours.
What You'll Bring

Required Education, Experience, Certification/Licensure:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
  • Advanced degree preferred.
  • 2-5 years of related experience in building ML platform solutions.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):
  • Strong knowledge of software engineering principles, programming in Python.
  • Problem-solving skills, diagnosing performance bottlenecks.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Understanding of ML models, algorithms, and Large Language Models.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
  • Experience with Snowflake and cloud data pipelines.
  • Experience with MLaaS platforms (Azure ML, AWS Sagemaker, Databricks).
  • Proficiency with version control and DevOps tools (Git, Azure DevOps).
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.

Pay Range: $109,700 - $146,200 annually. Pay is based on factors including knowledge, skills, experience, location.
