Amazon Inc. seeks a Machine Learning Engineer to design, build, and maintain systems for frontier quality assets used to train and evaluate GenAI models. You’ll collaborate with Applied Scientists to develop tooling that supports modeling and evaluation teams, at scale.

In a fast-paced environment, you’ll work with product teams and researchers to craft new techniques, prototype ideas, and deliver robust software under tight schedules while maintaining an inclusive team culture.

Formación

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 3+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• 3+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using: C#, C++, Java, or Perl experience
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

As an MLE on our team, you will design, build, and maintain systems for building frontier quality assets to train and evaluate our GenAI models. You’ll also work closely with our Applied Scientists to develop tools that support our modeling and evaluation team.

The FAI team has the mission to push the envelope in GenAI with LLMs, in order to provide the best-possible experience for our customers.

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 3+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• 3+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using: C#, C++, Java, or Perl experience
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
