You will design, build, and maintain systems that support training and evaluation of GenAI models at large scale, collaborating closely with Applied Scientists to turn research into reliable tooling. Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 3+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience, incl. design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
• 3+ years designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, distributed software systems.
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field (or foreign equivalent).
• Experience programming with at least one software language.

Build frontier-quality GenAI assets with the FAI team. In this onsite role in Boston, MA, you will design, build, and maintain systems that support training and evaluation of GenAI models at large scale, collaborating closely with Applied Scientists to turn research into reliable tooling.

Compensation for this position is USD 143,700 - 194,400 per year. You’ll join a team with a clear mission: push the envelope in GenAI with LLMs to help deliver the best possible experience for customers.

What you’ll do

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.

• 3+ years designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field (or foreign equivalent).
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Preferred qualifications

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
