The Role

We’re looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to join our Engineering team. You’ll work with the CTO and engineers to build and scale the systems that power Soris AI products. This is a ground-floor opportunity where your work will directly shape the platform, culture, and impact of Soris.

What You’ll Do

• Build and deploy highly accurate machine learning models into production.
• Collaborate with system and backend engineers to build data pipelines for training and inference.
• Develop a robust set of tools for model tracking, versioning, and monitoring.
• Optimize models and systems for speed, cost, and reliability.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in machine learning or data engineering.
• Strong skills in Python or R and frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Experience with serving models for inference (FastAPI)
• Experience with AWS (EKS, S3, SageMaker, Lambda, EKS, CloudWatch).
• Understanding of MLOps, feature stores, and model registries.
• Familiar with CI/CD, containerization, and monitoring tools.

Nice-To-Haves

• Experience with large language models or agentic systems.
• Knowledge of compliance standards such as SOC2 or HIPAA.
• Background in early-stage startups or small, fast-moving teams.
• Familiarity with Airflow, Kafka, or Snowflake.
