Job summary

This role emphasizes safety, quick learning, and teamwork. The shift runs Mon–Fri nights, with opportunities to contribute to process improvements and maintain a clean, efficient production floor.

Qualifications

• Able to read a tape measure and +/- fractions.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to learn machine operation procedures.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and perform repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist machine operators in setting up and operating manufacturing equipment.
• Monitor machines during operation to detect any irregularities or malfunctions.
• Perform routine cleaning, lubrication, and basic maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.
• Load and unload raw materials and finished products as required by the production process.
• Follow all safety guidelines and report any safety hazards or equipment issues to supervisors promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of machine performance and maintenance activities.
• Support the production team in meeting daily output goals and quality standards.

This position involves preparing machines for operation, monitoring their performance, and performing routine maintenance tasks to prevent downtime. The Machine Helper contributes to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment by adhering to safety protocols and promptly reporting any equipment malfunctions. By collaborating closely with the production team, the Machine Helper helps optimize workflow and supports quality control efforts. Ultimately, this role is essential in helping the manufacturing facility meet production targets while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

Minimum Qualifications:
