Job summary

Hood Container Corporation in Oldsmar, FL is seeking a Machine Helper for 2nd or 3rd shift to support the production line, loading materials and monitoring throughput while ensuring safety and quality.

You will follow ISO quality procedures, adhere to lockout/tagout and protective equipment policies, and contribute to a clean, safe, and efficient work environment on a fast-paced machinery floor.

Qualifications

SUMMARY

Major Areas of Responsibilities

• Manufacture Corrugated Cartons
• Assist the assistant operator as needed. Accountable for machine performance as related to waste, efficiency, quality and uptime objectives.

Primary Objectives

• Ensure all company policies are adhered to. (Safety, production, AIB, I.S.O. and quality).
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.

Specific Responsibilities of the Job

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, lift, push, pull, squat, and swivel. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to hot and/or humid as well as cold conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes, airborne particles, vibrations, louder than normal environments, and high paced atmosphere.
