Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; manufacturing or fabrication background is highly desirable.
- 3+ years in manufacturing, fabrication, or project-based sourcing roles.
- Experience working with suppliers on technical requirements, not just price.
Responsibilities
- Act as a technical SME in machining and fabrication; advise on cost, quality, and delivery impacts.
- Evaluate and improve the supplier base for capabilities, capacity, and quality.
- Assist with make vs. buy decisions using internal and external fabrication options.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align timelines, constraints, and requirements.
- Negotiate pricing, lead times, and terms; support supplier relationships.
