**Job Description**
PNA is searching for a Machine/Equipment Operator on 3rd shift responsible for basic setup and operation of equipment to produce according to quality specifications in an efficient and safe manner. This role is located at our Charlotte, NC manufacturing facility.

**Core Responsibilities**

• Follow all prescribed safety and housekeeping practices and procedures.
• Assist with setup and operation of metal forming manufacturing equipment, plasma cutters, saws, coating, and spot-welding equipment.
• Meet production standards while maintaining high quality and low scrap.
• Monitor machine performance, gauges, and quality output per instructions.
• Perform quality checks per SOPs and quality sheets.
• Track and document quality checks and scrap.
• Track machine downtime per shift.
• Participate in team events and meetings.
• Perform other duties as needed to support plant and customer needs.

**Job Requirements**

• High school diploma or GED; or six months related experience/training.
• Manufacturing experience preferred (setup, operation, changeover, measurement tools, preventive maintenance).
• Ability to work 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM (Sun-Thu) plus overtime, including occasional weekends.
• Ability to understand basic machinery.
• Teamwork skills.
• Ability to recognize parts, problems, and offer solutions.
• Ability to read drawings/spec sheets and follow instructions.
• Complete supplemental training (drawing reading, technical math, measurement).
• Must lift up to 50 pounds.

**Work Environment**

Exposure to fumes, heat, dust, climate variances, and mechanical equipment. High noise levels. PPE required. Reasonable accommodations available for disabilities.

**Physical Demands**

Regular use of hands, walking, standing, talking, hearing, reaching. Occasional sitting on a forklift. Must lift/move up to 50 pounds. Vision abilities include close vision and focus adjustment. Mount/dismount power industrial vehicle.
