Job Description
Machine Die Setup Operator — Madix, located in Eclectic, AL, United States. This entry‑level vacancy is open to applicants with a High School Diploma or equivalent. The job posting is current for applicants seeking an entry level opportunity.

- Perform daily functions as demonstrated by the lead person or supervisor within the allocated time per company standards.
- Operate typical machine shop and mold press operations to support the assembly floor.
- Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
- Perform prescribed preventative maintenance on machines as required by the PM charts.
- Perform tasks such as milling, turning, drilling, tapping, deburring, molding, and all bench operations, and inspect work.
- Observe and respond to machine malfunction warnings and alarm signals.
- Be familiar with basic machine functions to perform the stated tasks.
- Be willing to accept supervision and assistance with regard to machine set‑up.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Adhere to safety standards and company policies, including mandatory safety training.
Job Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Proficient use of hands to handle objects, tools, or controls; ability to climb or balance as required.
- Ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, climb, and squat for prolonged periods.
- Close, peripheral, depth vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Good attitude, common sense, and a team player mindset.
- Ability to understand and follow instructions; available to work weekends and/or overtime.
- Ability to work in a noisy environment and wear protective equipment (earplugs, safety glasses, gloves, boots, respirators, etc.).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of factory-related experience.
Work Environment
Manufacturing plant environment with extreme temperature fluctuations; dusty and noisy; exposure to odors and fumes.
