We’re a 100+ year-old, family-owned machinery manufacturer based in Hanover, PA, known for designing and assembling custom machines used by industry leaders in railroad, mining, automotive, renewable energy, and aerospace sectors. As demand for our products grows, so does our need for skilled builders ready to assemble machines and travel the world to install them.

What You’ll Do:

As a Machine Builder/Assembler, you’ll:
  • Assemble complex machinery and components using technical drawings, schematics, and verbal direction.
  • Use tools such as torque wrenches, calipers, micrometers, air tools, and gauges with precision and care.
  • Install and level large mechanical assemblies with overhead cranes and manual tools.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues during build and test phases.
  • Travel to customer sites (domestic and international) to install, test, and train clients on their new equipment.
  • Contribute to CAM’s team environment and take pride in your craftsmanship.

What You Bring:

Required:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 10+ years of experience in machinery assembly or a closely related field.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and electrical schematics.
  • Solid math and computer skills, including basic Microsoft Office use.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 75 lbs and stand for long periods.

Preferred:
  • Electrical assembly experience (wiring machines using schematics).
  • Painting experience.
  • Familiarity with 5S and Lean Manufacturing principles.
