Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of relevant job experience or a skilled trades/technical certification.
• Experience working with large assemblies and industrial machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Working knowledge of both metric and inch measurement systems.
• Basic electrical knowledge and general computer skills.
• Strong problem-solving ability with high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety policies and procedures (OSHA/MIOSHA).
• Build and assemble blow molding machines, auxiliary equipment, and sub-assemblies.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on building systems and installed equipment.
• Collaborate with supervisors, engineering, and production teams to troubleshoot issues and communicate shortages.
• Operate power tools and material-handling equipment, including forklifts and cranes.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings.
• Develop sketches or specifications for parts or products to be manufactured.
• Accurately complete daily timekeeping, payroll, and required documentation.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Machine Builder to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for building, assembling, and maintaining industrial machinery and equipment while supporting production and engineering teams to ensure high-quality output and efficient operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Follow all OSHA, MIOSHA, and company safety policies and procedures

• Build and assemble blow molding machines, auxiliary equipment, and sub-assemblies using a variety of tools and equipment

• Perform maintenance and repairs on building systems and installed equipment as assigned

• Collaborate with supervisors, engineering, and production teams to troubleshoot manufacturing issues and communicate material shortages
