Job summary

Eriez in Ohio is hiring a Machine Assembler to put together component parts according to blueprints, verify quantities, and manage parts inventory. The role uses hand tools and mechanical equipment to produce safe, reliable Eriez equipment.

You will read engineering drawings, perform basic tack welds, operate plasma cutter and cranes, maintain a clean area, and support continuous production while ensuring quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Use basic shop math including decimals and fractions.
• Read and follow engineering drawings, assembly procedures, manuals and material lists.
• Ability to read measuring tools and verify material accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components following blueprints and schematics.
• Verify quantities and inspect completed items.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and follow safety rules.
• Weld and tack parts as required; minor welding.
• Operate plasma cutter, ceramic saw, and cranes as needed.
• Read diagrams and use measuring tools to ensure accuracy.
