Job summary

QPS Employment Group has a great Machine Assembler I position available in Waukesha, WI. This is a direct hire, 1st and 2nd shift role with hours 6:00am-2:30pm, 2:30pm-10:30pm, or 12:00pm-8:00pm.

Primary duties include reviewing manuals and bill of materials, preparing part kits, and assembling components with precision tools. Proficiency with measurements and quality standards is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical certification in machining preferred.
• Two years of manufacturing or mechanical assembly experience preferred.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, blueprints, and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Receive, review, and prepare machine part kits for assembly.
• Review build manuals, drawings, bills of materials, and assembly instructions.
• Operating and setting up tools to perform assembly operations.
• Use ERP systems and labor-tracking for job orders when required.
• Inspect and prepare parts; remove burrs and ensure proper fit.
• Read and interpret blueprints and manufacturing drawings.
