Job summary

Responsibilities include collecting power data, driving fixes, identifying root causes, and designing tests to assess power impact of new features. BS in EE/CS and QA/testing experience preferred; Python/shell scripting a plus.

Qualifications

• BS EE/CS or equivalent experience preferred.
• 1 year of QA/Testing experience (Power QA preferred).
• Understanding of computer architecture, OS concepts, EE fundamentals and power management.
• Strong analytical, learning mindset and communication with cross-functional teams.
• Experience in test planning, validation and issue resolution with engineering teams.
• Python and shell scripting for automation and tooling.

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and present power data on in-development Mac platforms.
• Drive bug fixes and power optimizations to meet battery life targets.
• Identify and root-cause problem areas using debugging and data analysis.
• Design tests to assess power impact of new HW/SW features.
• Continuously improve test coverage, methodology, and efficiency.
