Job summary

Apple Inc. in Cupertino, CA, is seeking a mid-level design engineer to help develop future architecture platforms for consumer electronics.

You will contribute to module and system architecture, collaborating with mechanical, materials, EE, RF, reliability, and display teams to solve complex challenges. You'll prototype ideas with 3D modeling, drive cross-functional technology explorations, and translate blue-sky concepts into a coherent, realized architecture.

Qualifications

• BS Mechanical Engineering or equivalent required.
• 7+ years designing consumer electronics or similarly complex products.
• 3D CAD modeling – NX (preferred), SolidWorks, ProE

Responsibilities

• Contribute novel design solutions to new and existing challenges, aspiring to think different.
• Prototyping new product ideas by 3D modeling, fabricating, assembling, and testing mockups
• Drive cross-functional technology explorations, development, and system integration
• Drive designs from blue sky concept to a coherent, resolved architecture
