Job summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers in Vancouver, WA, seeks an MA Supervisor to lead medical assistants and care teams in a fast-paced outpatient setting. You will supervise, train, and evaluate staff, ensure clinical quality measures, patient flow, and customer service standards using the AIDET model.

Requires active MA-C or LPN license in Washington, at least 2 years ambulatory care experience with supervisory responsibilities, and BLS/CPR.

Qualifications

• Active MA-C license or LPN license in Washington State.
• Minimum 2 years ambulatory care experience; supervisory experience required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
• BLS/CPR required (or within 90 days of hire)
• Fast-paced outpatient setting. May require occasional travel to other clinic locations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and evaluate medical assistants and clinical support staff.
• Ensure clinical quality measures, infection control, and regulatory standards are met.
• Support patient flow and provider productivity (18–21 patients per provider/day).
• Manage staffing schedules, huddles, referrals, phone messages, and patient grievances.
• Assist with clinical care, procedures, injections, and patient assessments as needed.
• Monitor performance metrics, conduct audits, and support quality improvement efforts.
• Promote excellent customer service using the AIDET model.
