Sea Mar Community Health Centers in Lynnwood, WA is seeking a Medical Assistant – Certified (MA-C) to support providers in delivering high-quality, patient-centered primary care. The MA-C will room patients, obtain histories and vital signs, and assist with exams and procedures to keep patient flow efficient.

Qualified candidates are graduates of an approved MA program with MA-C certification (or interim with certification within 90 days), BLS/CPR, and ambulatory care experience; bilingual

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved MA program and MA-C certification.
• BLS/CPR certification required (or within 90 days).
• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Room patients, obtain histories and vital signs.
• Track and document clinical quality measures in the EHR.
• Assist providers with exams, procedures and charting.
• Administer medications and immunizations per protocol.
• Coordinate labs, referrals and specialty care.
• Provide excellent customer service using the AIDET model.
