Responsibilities

Position Summary: Under the direct supervision of the Clinic Nurse Director, Clinic Director or Physician assist with daily clinic patient care such as patient flow, taking patients history and vitals, assisting with diagnostic testing, maintenance of medical supplies and other duties as assigned. Basic office skills, schedule appointment as needed, etc.


Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.

Licensure/Certification: BLS certification required within 18 months of hire. Newly hired team members with a minimum of one (1) year of Medical Assistant experience or graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program will be required to complete certification within 90 days of hire. If a new team member is hired with no Medical Assistant experience than they will have to obtain the certification within 90 days after obtaining the one (1) year of required Medical Assistant experience.

Experience: One (1) to two (2) years continuous experience in a clinical setting preferred.
