Responsibilities

Position Summary: Under the direct supervision of the Clinic Nurse Director, Clinic Director, or Physician, assist with daily clinic patient care such as patient flow, taking patients' history and vitals, assisting with diagnostic testing, maintenance of medical supplies, and other duties as assigned. Basic office skills, scheduling appointments as needed, etc.

Qualifications
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Licensure/Certification: BLS certification required within 18 months of hire. Newly hired team members with a minimum of one (1) year of Medical Assistant experience or who are graduates of an accredited Medical Assistant program will be required to complete certification within 90 days of hire. If hired with no Medical Assistant experience, certification must be obtained within 90 days after gaining one (1) year of Medical Assistant experience.
  • Experience: One (1) to two (2) years of continuous experience in a clinical setting preferred.
