Job summary

Firelands Health in Sandusky, OH, seeks an experienced LPN to provide professional nursing care under physician supervision and support health promotion and illness management. You will assist physicians with patient care and communicate clinic services to patients.

Responsibilities include monitoring patient flow, taking vital signs, documenting medications, and performing adjunct tasks such as phlebotomy/EKG/stress testing as needed. A valid Ohio nursing license and CPR are required.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited practical nursing program and hold current licensure in Ohio.
• Must have the ability to perform as a medical scribe.
• Prior experience in a medical office/urgent care setting preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• Must be knowledgeable of the nursing process.
• Must possess strong critical thinking, initiative, judgment, problem solving, and decision making.
• Must have a valid Ohio driver’s license and be insurable under Firelands auto policy.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with patient care and relay information to patients about clinic services.
