Providence is seeking an Associate Medical Assistant (MA I) to assist in providing basic patient care under a licensed practitioner, performing both administrative and clinical duties in accordance with policies and regulations.

Minimum qualifications include graduation from an accredited program with hands-on training or a MA apprenticeship, plus BLS within 30 days; preferred experience with EHR and customer service. This role is based in California and supports a patient-centered care culture.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school with hands-on training in a clinical setting.
• Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program.
• Completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces.
• Minimum one year of MA work experience including vital signs, injections, and medication administration.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
• Medical assisting experience in a clinic setting (0-6 months).
• 6 months experience providing high level customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• 6 months experience working with an Electronic Health Record (EHR).
