Job summary

Valley Clinic in Utah is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant to join a fast-paced clinic, typically 2–3 days a week. Office hours are 8:30am–5:00pm, Monday–Friday, with a required background check and a one-year commitment.

Must be punctual, reliable and able to work well under stress while maintaining patient care. Candidate must hold CMA or CNA certification or have MA experience and be able to multitask in a busy clinical setting, assisting doctors and staff with routine exams and

Qualifications

• Must have CMA or CNA certification.
• Must have a current MA license or experience as Medical Assistant.
• Strong communication, organization and patient-care skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Doctor/NP/PA in clinic by taking patient weight, blood pressure and medical history.
• Assist with in-office procedures such as pap smears and other minor procedures.
• Support with additional tasks as assigned; maintain patient flow in a busy clinic.
