Job summary

The United States Institute of Peace in El Salvador seeks a full-time Personal Services Contractor to provide Monitoring and Evaluation support to the El Salvador Team Lead. The role involves coordinating with project staff and USIP's Learning, Evaluation, and Research team to collect performance indicators and prepare written reports.

The contractor will oversee learning activities, develop data collection tools, ensure timely MEL updates, and contribute to learning materials and communications

Qualifications

• Advanced English and proficient Spanish are required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
• Experience in Monitoring and Evaluation and data analysis is required.
• Experience with qualitative/quantitative data collection and reporting is expected.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a Project Monitoring Plan with indicators and frequency of measurement.
• Coordinate MEL activities with project staff and partners to align with MEL objectives.
• Create data collection instruments and tools for surveys and data gathering.
• Draft baseline, midpoint and endline reports with indicators, graphics, and recommendations.
• Support writing and editing needs for the El Salvador project for diverse audiences.
• Disseminate learning materials and project lessons to stakeholders.
