Job summary

Alpha FMC in New York is hiring an M&A Tech and Ops Associate/Senior Associate to lead technology due diligence, assess target technology landscapes, and drive value creation for financial services transactions.

You will work across technology, operations and business functions, coordinating with CTOs and engineering leaders, and mentoring junior team members on complex engagements.

Qualifications

• Real technology background with experience in technology-enabled transactions.
• Experience in or strong interest in Financial Services is preferred.
• Advanced Excel proficiency and financial modeling skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication abilities.
• Understanding of technology landscapes and integration considerations is valuable.

Responsibilities

• Lead technology due diligence workstreams end to end on buy-side and sell-side deals.
• Form and defend views on target technology landscapes and architectures.
• Assess cost to fix and potential value creation from tech improvements.
• Translate findings into investor-friendly language and metrics.
• Support Day 1 planning for integration or separation projects.
