Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, or related field required.
• Active CPA license, U.S.-admitted attorney status, IRS Enrolled Agent (EA), or equivalent credential required.
• Minimum of five (5) years in professional services, public accounting, corporate tax, or law firm environment.
• At least two (2) years of direct experience in tax transaction advisory or M&A tax work.
• Experience leading engagement workstreams and managing deliverables within timelines.
• Proficiency with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Manages multiple transaction engagement workstreams including due diligence, structuring, and advisory services for M&A.
• Identifies tax exposures and planning opportunities; communicates tax-efficient alternatives.
• Reviews tax returns, data-room materials, and transaction documentation; ensures accuracy and relevance.
• Prepares client-ready diligence reports, technical memoranda, and structuring analyses.
• Reviews assumptions in financial models and assesses tax impacts on outcomes.
• Manages engagement economics: work plans, budgets, timelines, billing, and risk controls.
• Coordinates with domestic and international offices to deliver cohesive client solutions.
• Develops client relationships through routine status calls and proactive communication.
• Supports proposals, market initiatives, and staff development.
• Performs additional responsibilities as needed.
