Job summary

The Manager in Tax Transaction Advisory at Crowe Advisory LLC leads day-to-day delivery of tax due diligence, structuring, and advisory services for M&A engagements. You will supervise workstreams, translate complex tax findings to client guidance, and help execute the national Tax Transaction Advisory strategy.

The role supports cross-office collaboration, client relationships, and staff development, with a hybrid work model and potential remote arrangements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, or related field required
• Active CPA license, U.S.-admitted attorney status, IRS Enrolled Agent (EA), or equivalent professional credential required
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a professional services, public accounting, corporate tax, or law firm environment
• At least two (2) years of direct experience in tax transaction advisory services or closely related mergers and acquisitions tax work
• Demonstrated experience leading engagement workstreams, reviewing the work of others, and managing deliverables within transaction timelines required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required

Responsibilities

• Manages multiple concurrent engagement workstreams for due diligence and advisory services in transactions
• Identifies tax exposures and opportunities, develops tax-efficient alternatives
• Reviews tax returns, workpapers, data-room materials, transaction documentation
• Prepares client-ready diligence reports, technical memoranda, structuring analyses
• Reviews tax-related assumptions in client financial models and assesses tax impacts
• Manages engagement economics: work plans, budgets, timelines, billing, quality risk
• Coordinates with domestic and international offices and other service lines
• Develops and maintains client relationships through status calls and presentations
• Supports proposals, pursuits, market initiatives, and staff development
