Job summary

BDO USA, LLP is seeking a Tax Manager in Transaction Advisory Services to guide engagements ensuring timely delivery and client satisfaction as part of the national TAS strategy. The role covers deal structuring, due diligence, post-deal integration, tax attributes, and opinions and ruling requests.

The position requires extensive TAS experience, CPA/JD/LLM with tax focus and strong communication skills to coordinate with global teams and manage budgets and client expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Statistics is required; JD/LLM with tax focus preferred.
• Master's in Accounting or Tax is preferred.
• CPA, Attorney (US jurisdiction) or Enrolled Agent or equivalent required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in due diligence and structuring engagements for transactions pursued by private equity and strategic buyers/sellers.
• Identify and analyze tax risks and opportunities; advise on acquisition, disposition, and restructuring strategies.
• Review merger agreements and provide opinions letters.
• Analyze tax computations in financial models and assist in tax data analysis for transactions.
• Manage budgeting, billing, and collection; monitor engagement performance.
• Collaborate with BDO offices worldwide and mentor subordinates.
• Perform other duties as required.
